A massive, bold nose is apparent upon opening as is the deep, ruby color. The wine is vibrant and round in the mouth with cooked blackberry and dark currant flavors. The finish is quite drying which will lend itself well to a big steak dinner. This wine should be drunk within the next few years to maximize the bright fruit flavors.
