Initially upon opening this wine, you may find it somewhat closed and tight. However, after 15 minutes in the glass, what a surprise! The wine opens up with a cedar and cigar box nose and the flavors exploded with bright plum and cherry and a lingering tannic backbone. This wine is very long on the pallet and drinks wonderfully now, although it may continue to age beautifully in the cellar.
