Without question, this was one of the finest vintages in the past 20 years. One is immediately struck with a big nose of cedar box and tobacco. The complex flavors are replete with dark chocolate and stewed blackberries. The mouth is quite bright and lively and still has a lot of tannins, which means the wine will last for many years to come.
