What makes it even more special is that it is the second time we have received this recognition. If you haven’t heard, the Monterey Peninsula is not only famous for Galante wines, but there is a bit of golf around here!! One of the most celebrated events is the Pebble Beach National AT&T Pro-Am where top tour professionals team with Hollywood celebrities, renowned musicians and industry leaders to compete for a $6.5 million dollar purse, as well as bragging rights. If you have tried to attend previously you know how terribly hard it is to get accommodations. We would love to give the first opportunity to stay in our Carmel Studio to one of our Galante Vineyards customers. Jack’s Saddlebag – Man of Peace

This month the world lost a wonderful humanitarian in Nelson Mandela. Not only did he triumph against tremendous adversity and a 27-year imprisonment, but he taught the world a lesson in forgiveness through his profound compassion and generosity. His non-violent battle against apartheid and discrimination transformed not only a nation but influenced the world. Although his own light may have extinguished, the brightness that he has left will shine forever. We can only hope that his inspiration will help propel our societies to greater understanding and that one day the power of those who preach hatred and oppression will be subdued by the values and goodness of the majority of human beings who strive to live in harmony and peace. May this holiday season bring you all joy, health and happiness.
